What we do

Four areas of work that hold one cause together

We help organize small groups for studying the Gospel, we run camps and forums for children and young people across Ukraine, and we hold training seminars for those who work with children.

Regular groups at churches

Children meet together with their mentors to study the Bible, to pray, sing, play games and simply talk about life. It is a place where a child is known by name, where someone will listen and help that child come to know God in a warm, friendly atmosphere. There are already more than 90 such groups across Ukraine — this is where a child finds real friends and sincere support.

02

Camps and forums

One week at camp often leaves memories that last the whole year. For us a camp is not just a carefree time full of games, new friends and honest conversations by the fire. It is above all a beginning: after camp a child comes to a group or to a Sunday school at a local church, and the work with that child continues.

Training for mentors

To serve children well, we train and support our mentors continually. At the seminars, children’s workers share their experience, learn methods of working with children and young people, and receive spiritual encouragement for the ministry ahead.

04

People on the ground

In every region there are mentors responsible for the groups there, who know each of their groups personally and stay in regular contact locally. They see how a group is doing, what it lacks and where the money goes. They are the ones who bring the groups, the camps and the training together into one shared work.

Why we work this way

It is the local church that must create an environment of discipleship — a kind of ark for children who are seeking God.

Long-term, effective work is impossible outside the local church. That is why our ministry is above all about helping congregations build systematic work in children’s evangelism, train workers, organize events and support the ministry materially.

Our calling is to work with local churches to preach the Gospel to children, to ground them in the truths of Scripture and to raise disciples of Jesus who will carry the Gospel further.
